Cold and Un-Motivated

I found every excuse to not run today! Damn. I had planned on running a 5K and seeing if I could get it in under 52 minutes. But I did a damn good job of talking myself out of accomplishing this task! Grrrrr... Now sitting here typing I still think I should go run it. however, its too late to go to the gym and much to late and cold to run outside, plus something is wrong with the outlet I need to plug my machine into, making it so I cant run! This day was not too good of a day. I only ate about 1700 calories though. not too terrible. But still I would've liked to get a work out in.

This whole working out thing, while wathcing calories, is pretty hard. I am finding it harder and harder to net around 1500. I usually consume about 1500-2000 calories but when I work out I like to work out hard and for about an hour. Thus making it hard for me to net 1500 calories because I usually only eat that many. I have now trained myself to eat about 1500, but I forget that when I work out I need more. I know I could grab a carton of Ice cream or grab a Carls Jr. Anything and it would get me more calories in an instant. But I need good calories. Spinach, tomatoes, apples, and yogurt just dont seem to be cutting it for me when I need those extra calories. This last week I only lost a pound and with the super bowl, and good food and beer, right around the corner, I realize I am doomed and need to eat extra well this week so I ca splurge a little this weekend.

I have not drank any alcohol since new years, and I know my tolerance will be low low low but, I am going to try to to not get too smashed and to not eat or drink too much. :) Hopefully it will work! Saturdays workout will kick my ass! Then on Monday I get to go hiking up mill creek followed by a Spanish test then possibly another workout! Oh goody!

Anyways off to bed for the evening. Getting good sleep is good for my diet as well! :)
